INBA Designs reimagined this once-neglected home into a welcoming and stylish Airbnb retreat. What was once cluttered and difficult to manage is now refreshed with functional updates, decluttered spaces, and thoughtful touches that make it truly livable. From fixing what wasn’t working to enhancing the flow of each room, the transformation turned the property into a warm, inviting escape for guests to enjoy with ease and comfort.

Rutesh and family — Rutesh and his family — entrepreneurial parents of two energetic boys — live outside of Groveland but cherish every chance to escape into the outdoors. Drawn to the beauty and tranquility of the Yosemite region, they purchased this home as a retreat to slow down, reconnect with nature, and make lasting memories together. From family hikes to evenings under the stars, the cabin has become their haven for relaxation and adventure. Now, they’re opening it up to guests, inviting others to experience the same peace, joy, and natural beauty that inspired them.

When INBA Designs first stepped into this home, its sheer size made it feel overwhelming and difficult to manage. Rather than seeing the space as a challenge, we viewed it as an opportunity to simplify and reimagine. To make the property more functional and guest-friendly, we strategically closed off unused areas, ensuring the home felt inviting instead of intimidating. The garage was reimagined into a vibrant game room — not only creating a fun space for families and friends to gather, but also adding a new revenue stream for the owners. In the kitchen, thoughtful updates enhanced usability, making it easier for guests to cook, share meals, and feel at home.
Designing with intention meant finding balance: simplifying a large, unwieldy home into a retreat that feels both comfortable and manageable, without losing its character. The result is a space that’s not just beautiful, but thoughtfully crafted for effortless hosting and memorable stays.

Every detail — from decluttered, breathable interiors to thoughtful outdoor seating — was chosen to make the home feel approachable and restorative. Hemlock is now a place where style meets ease, and where guests of all ages can settle in and truly feel at home.
